I still haven’t tried sitting in the shower. You just sit on the floor?

Nah, I pull in my rollie chair and spin in circles and belt out “singing in the rain”, causing me to consequently fall out and think to myself, “why on earth would I bring a chair into a shower? Obviously I should have dragged the loveseat in here.”
Was that too much? Bahahahaha.

Yeah, I just sit cross legged on the floor.

Random thought…

Shakira sounds like a frog. A very talented frog with hips that don’t lie, but a frog nonetheless.

Sitting in the shower is one of the most relaxing things. Just chilling and letting the water fall as mutemath blasts through my sister’s “borrowed” speaker/boombox thing…

It’s peace.

I feel so much better now…

I always felt my writing was a bit lackluster when it came to settings. I always want my stories to be set someplace like my hometown. Or at least in Mississippi. I want to write about what I know, you know? And Mississippi is really all I know. (Though, I could make a really good guess at Tennessee and Alabama).

But I don’t feel so bad, because Stephenie Meyer refers to Arizona in both Twilight and the Host (she goes Arizona crazy in the Host). And Rachel Vincent (probably never heard of her) set both of her book series in Texas. I can only guess she’s from Texas…

So, if accomplished authors go back home when they write, who says I can’t, too? It’s just still highly unlikely that all this drama is going down in little ole Mississippi. But hey, William Faulkner did it.
